FALLBROOK ---- A man and woman brandished a gun and forced their way inside a home in Rainbow before robbing it Wednesday night, sheriff's officials said.
Shortly before 6:15 p.m., the two approached the home on the 6400 block of Rainbow Heights Road, possibly telling the person at the door they were with a church group, Sgt. Mark Foster said.
The two then displayed the gun and entered, officials said.
Foster said jewelry was taken from the home, though no one was injured.
The suspects apparently then shot the resident's car tires as they left, said Lt. Sylvester Washington.
Descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.
